We are proud and delighted to announce that the Association of Persons with Cerebral Palsy and Other Disabilities has been awarded a grant by the Western Balkans Fund, co-funded by the European Union!

On 24–25 June 2026, we participated in the two-day Partnership Workshop and the Awarding Ceremony held in Tirana, Albania, organized within the Grant for Grassroots Initiatives Grant Scheme.

During the workshop, participants received practical guidance on financial management, monitoring and evaluation, communication and visibility, as well as the overall project implementation framework. We are especially proud that our project was selected among the 24 winning projects out of 264 applications submitted from across the Western Balkans.

On 1 July 2026, we officially launched the implementation of the project “Persons with Disabilities Grow Organic Aromatic Herbs” .

Over the next six months, the project will:

provide practical training in organic cultivation of medicinal and aromatic herbs for at least 30 persons with disabilities from three countries;

strengthen the capacities of the partner organizations and promote regional cooperation;

develop a handbook on inclusive organic herb cultivation by persons with disabilities;

establish a regional mechanism for knowledge exchange and sharing of good practices;

raise public awareness and reduce stigma by promoting the abilities and potential of persons with disabilities.

The project will be implemented until the end of 2026 in partnership with Udruzenje osoba sa invaliditetom “Volja za zivotom” Velika Plana (Serbia) and Udruženje Oaza (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina).
