Today, a traditional one-day excursion was organized for the members of the Association of Persons with Cerebral Palsy and Other Disabilities from Veles. A total of 34 persons with disabilities, along with their companions, took part in this activity, aimed at promoting recreation, socialization, and active inclusion in the community.
The excursion took place in the beautiful spiritual and cultural-historical setting of the Monastery of St. Gavril Lesnovski, an important part of Macedonia’s cultural heritage. The visit provided participants with an opportunity to learn more about the rich history and spiritual significance of this site, while also enjoying quality time in nature, filled with social interaction, conversation, and mutual support.
Such activities are of great importance, as they contribute to improving quality of life, strengthening self-confidence, and fostering new friendships. The traditional nature of this excursion reflects the association’s ongoing commitment to the care and inclusion of persons with disabilities in society.
Together, we continue to create opportunities for greater inclusion, respect, and equality for all.
