Yesterday, we had the honour of hosting Mr. Harald Brezé Fugger, Austrian Attaché for Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection. During his working visit, he toured several locations to gain first-hand insight into the social services and support provided by our organization within the local community.
📌 The visit began in Veles, at the premises of our organization, where we presented our activities, programmes, and services aimed at supporting persons with disabilities and older adults.
🏛 The visit then continued to the Municipality of Čaška, where meetings were held with representatives of the local government to exchange experiences and discuss opportunities for strengthening social and health care services. Mr. Fugger also visited the kindergarten, the senior citizens’ club, and the day care centre for persons with disabilities.
🏠 As part of the visit, we presented the Supported Living social service and the small group homes in the Municipality of Gradsko, providing an overview of the living conditions and the operation of this important model that promotes independent living and community-based support for its beneficiaries.
📍The visit continued in the Municipality of Rosoman, where the focus was on the Home Help and Care social service for older persons and persons with disabilities. Mr. Fugger met with the caregivers and learned first-hand about their daily work, the challenges they face, and the dedication with which they provide care and support.
🤝 This comprehensive visit marks an important step towards strengthening cooperation, exchanging good practices, and laying the foundation for future joint initiatives.
