ABOUT US

The “Association of Persons with Cerebral Palsy and Other Disabilities – Veles” is a humanitarian, non-profit organisation established on 12.09.1997 by people with disabilities and their families.

This organisation has members with CP, Down syndrome, intellectual disability, autism, and other forms of disabilities.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES FOR 2023-2026

1. Enabling social services for persons with disabilities.

2. Social involvement and employment of persons with disabilities, including women and girls by the approach of social entrepreneurship.

3. Gender equality for women and girls with disabilities, and economic empowerment of women.

4. Improved well-being and easier access to health institutions and services for women and men with special needs.

5. Raising awareness in the local community about the importance of improving the quality of life for persons with disabilities and their involvement in social events.

9. Enhancing networks within local organizations that work with persons with disabilities, including girls and women
